As a low maintenance and cost effective alternative to its metal maintenance platform, docklands Light railway (DLR) selected a decking system from Fibreglass Grating.

The grating is said to have one of the highest degrees of slip resistance ever measured for a walking surface, especially in wet, oily or frosty work areas. Its integral gritted anti-slip top provides longlasting slip resistant qualities. The material also has good corrosion resistance

At DLR, the 135m wash bay platform was installed by a four man team in just two days with minimum disruption.
