Versatile walkway system

Safetyworks & Solutions has launched a versatile walkway system called Flexideck.

Aimed at all sectors – retrofit and new build – it has fall protection guards for fragile roofs where fall arrest systems may not be suitable, for example, where there is the risk of hitting the underside steelwork and plant beneath the roof when in an arrest situation.

Made of recycled polyethylene, the walkway is designed to last for many years. The company says it is virtually indestructible and will not go brittle over time. It is not affected by temperature change and is colour-fast.

The company offers a 25 year guarantee and says that if the walkway fails in 30 years it would be very surprised.
