Stop trauma
November 1st 2005

The new Suspension Trauma Safety Strap from AFI Aerial Platforms allows a worker who is suspended at height as a result of a fall to relieve pressure to their arteries and the veins around the top of the legs.

The continuous loop design of the device means that by placing either one foot or both feet in the loop, pressure will be relieved while the victim awaits rescue.

The strap weighs just 91g and can be attached as two small zipped packs to most makes of harness for easy deployment in the event of a fall.
