Walk safely

The safety division of OCS Technical has added a walkway system to provide designated walkway facilities to customers.

The Suregrip system is produced from recycled UPVC and, in most circumstances, can be installed without penetrating the roof membrane. This allows property managers to establish a safe walkway, providing access to roofs and exteriors without compromising the roof's guarantees or risking leaks.

During the extrusion process, a special safety tread is incorporated onto the top plank, ensuring that the surface remains non-slip, even when wet.

Chris Cracknell, chief executive of OCS, says "In line with ever more stringent health and safety regulations, this system will improve customers' working environments and ensure the safety of their employees."
