Machinery safety courses
September 1st 2008

Providers of training in machinery safety and the management of health and safety, Pilz Automation Technology has published a booklet outlining the courses and timetable for July to December 2008. Many of the courses in the first half of 2008 were oversubscribed, so anyone interested in attending a course is urged to make a provisional booking as soon as possible.

There are two types of course: those relating to regulations and standards, and others specific to Pilz machinery safety products.

Those covering regulations include City & Guilds Machinery Safety courses, IOSH Managing Safely, BS EN 61508 and Requirements for Maintaining Plant and Machinery courses. Product courses include SafetyBUS p programming and a PNOZmulti configurable safety controller course. All scheduled courses take place at Pilz training facilities in Northamptonshire.
