Pocket cards deal with tower safety on site November 1st 2004 The Prefabricated Access Suppliers’ and Manufacturers’ Association, PASMA, has expanded its range of toolbox safety products to include the first in a series of PocketCards.
Designed as a handy, practical guide for use on site, the encapsulated card measures 140 by 90mm and provides an illustrated checklist of what to do and what not to do when assembling, moving and dismantling towers.
Easy to use, the PocketCard offers simple, step-by-step advice, such as ensuring that platforms are securely located and windlocks applied, and that castors are locked and legs correctly adjusted.
The cards cost £25.00 for a set of 50, plus postage and packing, and can be obtained via the PASMA website www.pasma.co.uk.
Other cards in the pipeline include understanding and using tower components and identifying potential hazards. More articles from PASMA: |
