Hazardous vapours and fumes are released at various production stages across a broad range of industries. Whether the risk is noxious fumes, such as polyisocyanates associated with paint spraying, hydrogen sulphide from crude oil treatment, asbestosis or lead poisoning, effective protection is essential.

Particulate dusts from grinding and sanding processes can also be harmful.

In many cases, simple orinasal filtering masks such as cartridge types are not acceptable.
