Sf6 training May 1st 2009 EA Technology runs a two day
training and certification course,
which enables companies to comply
with new regulations on the safe
handling of sulphur hexafluoride
(SF6) gas, commonly used to insulate
HV switchgear.
The course is designed to satisfy
the UK's Fluorinated Greenhouse
Gases Regulations 2009, which
stipulate that anyone who recovers
SF6 from HV switchgear must enroll
on an approved training course by
3rd July this year, for the purposes of
gaining a certificate from an approved
certification body.
