Automatic lube system for smaller installations
September 1st 2005

A new oil lubrication reservoir and pumping center from John Crane means the advantages of its Flowline automatic lubrication system are now available to smaller installations.

The FL300, part of the Safematic range, is designed to reduce lubrication and maintenance costs, while increasing reliability and runnability to a wide range of industries, especially pulp and paper.

With a compact, space-saving and easily installed design, it offers a pumping and oil processing capacity of up to 30L/min, and is suitable for lubricating twin roll presses, single gear boxes, air fans and similar applications. Available in stainless or acid-proof steel, it can be supplied with one or two pumps and controlled from an inbuilt panel or from an external control unit.

The unit provides effective circulation of large volumes of oil that is delivered in exactly the right quantity to each lubrication point. It eliminates contaminants such as abraded or oxidised particles.
