Castrol says that by automating conveyor lubrication its Lubecon system can significantly increase conveyor chain and trolley life, as well as productivity, while reducing maintenance costs, downtime, lubricant use, energy consumption and product contamination.

Castrol Lubecon uses a computerised system controller that can provide accurate lubrication to as many as four different lubricators using fluid from a central reservoir with capacities to 200L. Lubricant is applied in exact quantities to a precise schedule and is infinitely variable to ensure effective lubrication at all times for components such as chain links and pins, trolleys, bearings and cat drives.The system is said to offer an unrivalled combination of product range, equipment solution and service.
