The Mongol Rally covers a distance of 7381 miles across 13 countries, five mountain ranges and two deserts, where temperatures plunge from 40°C during the day to sub zero at night.

Among this year’s participants was a 15-year old Fiat Panda 4x4 that had been refitted for the task and which took along an assortment of Jubilee clips to help should breakdowns occur.

L Robinson & Co (Gillingham) donated the clips in one of its Workshop packs. Handy and reuseable, the pack is designed for those occasions where hose clips may be required in various sizes for one or more simultaneous applications. Included is an assortment of mild steel zinc plated Jubilee clips that range in size from 9.5 to 40mm, providing a total selection of 143 clips.
