A tailor-made lubrication system from RJ Mellor replaces normal grease points with smart nipples.

These have a sealed in transponder that ‘talks’ to a grease meter on the grease gun dispenser. Information from each grease point can be downloaded as part of a planned maintenance schedule.

With the LubeRight system software on a PC, lubrication engineers can design the optimum lubrication programme for their needs. Recommended or preferred lubrication cycles and volume of product required for each bearing is entered in the PC - each nipple being individually identified.

After a lubrication cycle, data is downloaded; any missed bearings will be highlighted and, as the quantity of grease dispensed is in the system memory, over or underlubrication will also be pinpointed.
