Wolf Safety has updated its ATEX Explained poster that outlines the main requirements of the ATEX Workplace Directive 99/92/EC.
It suggests that investment in compliant equipment can save risk assessment costs on non-ATEX apparatus still in use on many European Hazardous Area Sites.
The Directive stipulates minimum requirements for improving the safety and health protection of workers potentially at risk from explosive atmospheres. Wolf Safety says its products, from Penlites to Turbolites, are available for virtually every hazardous area situation.
