COST CUTTING July 1st 2004
Boge Compressors has introduced two upgraded versions of its SF series frequency controlled screw compressors.
Reducing energy costs continues to be an important aim for every maintenance manager and Boge points out that a frequency controlled compressor is one tool that can assist in achieving reductions in compressed air related energy cost.
The SF range works strictly in accordance with the compressed air demand by producing the exact volume of compressed air at the pressure required. Frequency control minimises idling time and evens out air demand fluctuations. Energy costs can therefore be reduced considerably.
Models come in pressure ranges of 8, 10 and 13bar. Output capacities range from 1.34 to 7m3/min for the SF 60-2 (45kW) and from 2.30 to 12.1m3/min for the SF 100-2 (75kW). More articles from Boge Compressors Ltd: |
