Less air more savings

All industrial companies are looking to save energy costs.

However, this has to be balanced with maintaining productivity and adhering to health and safety regulations. For compressed air users, the Air Technology Division of Meech International has a host of solutions to save energy, reduce noise and provide a high power blowoff force, while using only a minute amount of compressed air.

Energy saving High Thrust Jets provides companies with a high power blast of air, while reducing compressor demand and lowering noise levels. Designed for applications such as swarf removal, product drying and material conveying. Meech has shown that companies can make an annual saving of up to 73% on their air consumption after installing the Meech Jets on a previously open pipe system.

Air Amplifiers are yet another energy saving solution. These amplifiers are for applications such as product redirection and drying.

Very quiet in operation with up to 50dBA noise reduction compared to 'open-air' systems, the air amplifiers can be used in ducted or open situations to handle dust, fumes or granular materials. Thanks to their innovative design, air amplification ratios of 12 to 25:1 are achievable. The Air Amplifiers are available in either aluminium or stainless steel and with no moving parts are maintenance free.

Other energy saving devices from Meech Air Technology include Safety Nozzles and Safety Blowguns which save up to 70% of compressed air demand while reducing noise levels. Also available are Energy saving Air Curtains that provide an efficient blade of air for wide area blow off and drying applications.

The Air Technology division of Meech International also produce a range of cooling products, which run solely on compressed air. At the heart of these cooling solutions is the Vortex Tube a small Stainless Steel device capable of producing temperatures ranging from -60°C to +110°C.

Other products' using the Vortex Tube includes the Meech Coldstream Gun and Meech Cabinet Cooler. Both these offer the same benefits as the Vortex Tube but are designed with specific applications in mind.
