A-Plant has placed an order worth in excess of £2m with GenSet for more than 300 state-of-the-art VT-1 Superlight lighting towers.
The towers will be used by A-Plant customers involved in construction, maintenance or roadwork during the autumn and winter months, or used at events where powerful lighting is required.
The GenSet Vertical Hydraulic VT-1 towers have been awarded ‘Best New Product Award for 2004 from Hire Association Europe. They provide bright lighting from four 1000W metal halide lamps, covering a surface area of 45m2.
Designed to be easy to operate and transport, towers can be set up in less than 20sec, from starting the engine to erecting the 9m hydraulically-operated mast to full height. They offer low noise (65dBA at 7m) and run for 96h before refuelling is required. More articles from A Plant: |
