REMOTE CON MON March 1st 2005
On show at Maintec 2005 on the Sensonics stand was the DN36 Spydernet 8 channel ethernet connectable vibration and process monitoring system.
Operating via a live link the system demonstrates remote vibration monitoring (equipment at the company’s Berkhamstead site was monitored live on the exhibition stand). Despite its technical sophistication the system requires no special software except an internet broswer and at between £2000-2500 it is not prohibitively expensive. Indeed, Russell King of Sensonics believes “the system could replace portable monitoring”.
The company also launched some new brochures – these included: A product overview of predictive maintenance systems; the sentry machine protection system; Spyder DN36 remote machine monitoring; Aegis machine condition monitoring and the latest Seismic monitoring and protection systems.
