ATEX-compliant enclosed versions of Moeller Electric's popular type T rotary switches and type P switch disconnectors are now available for applications in hazardous areas where there is a risk of explosive dust being present.

Type T switches, which use cam-type switching elements, are available in ATEX versions with ratings from 32A to 100A, while ATEX type P switch disconnectors, which have direct-driven contacts, cover the range 25A to 100A. All types and ratings are approved for use in dust areas, zone 22, category 3, and all are approved for device group II, which covers all applications except those associated with mining.
