A breath of CompAir September 20th 2005 CompAir has marked its third anniversary as a private company with a new range of oil-free compressors.
Designed for applications requiring high quality oil-free air, the water injected screw compressors use a digitally controlled switched reluctance DC drive. This enables the compressors to match output to varying demands – and as a result saves energy. According to the company, adding an SR compressor (i.e. with a drive – which CompAir manufacturers under license from SR Drives) to any installation of standard oil-free compressors gives the system the ability to match output to demand.
CompAir has also announced its smaller compressors will use variable speed controls, meaning the oil-free range covers from 15kW – 75kW.
In addition, five new models are added to CompAir’s L-Series screw compressor range – including increased numbers of speed regulated models.
