ACI lands exclusive screen printing vacuum beds distributorship April 27th 2006 An exclusive marketing agreement, covering the UK and Europe, has been awarded to Air Control Industries of Chard by The A.W.T. World Trade Group, Chicago for its screen printing vacuum beds manufactured by Graphic Parts International. (G.P.I.).
The vacuum beds are available in standard sizes to fit all makes of screen printing machines but can also be supplied to customised dimensions (area and thickness). They are available in sizes from large-format automatic printers down to one-man units, providing an optimum option for component replacement and machine re-build projects.
Standard beds are manufactured with non-rusting, anti-static, aircraft quality, aluminium vacuum tops with either corrugated or aluminium honeycomb cores to impart high rigidity and ensure efficient air flow. Vacuum tops can be manufactured in other materials, such as stainless steel, if required.
“Because A.W.T. uses our multi-stage blowers for its G.P.I. vacuum beds and air handling applications are our speciality, both parties consider it appropriate that ACI, with its European distributor network, should handle the marketing operation on this side of the Atlantic”, said Matthew Forknall, ACI’s marketing director. “G.P.I. vacuum beds are well established and proven in North America and we see significant potential for them in the UK and European markets.”
