Two and two makes four New powered convertible hand truck December 15th 2006 Magline has launched its Powered Gemini convertible hand truck which it says reduces the operator stress and back pain by nearly eliminating pushing and pulling of loads while increasing safety and productivity. The company claims that compared to a non-powered product, 19 times less force is need to start a rolling load.
According to the company it supports larger, more stable loads. Operators can stack up to 25 per cent more product per load – meaning fewer trips and faster goods movement. Its nitrogen-inflated tyres stay inflated six times longer than air filled tyres, thereby reducing maintenance and increasing availability.
With a 454Kg capacity, the direct-driven four wheel truck can easily be converted to a two wheel hand truck and back again.
