IRISYS launches low cost, hi res thermal imager February 17th 2006 IRISYS hopes to take on the thermography establishment with its low cost, high specification IRI 4010.
Designed for thermographers, maintenance engineers or any technician seeking to identify, measure and record temperatures from -10°C to +250°C, it has a pixel resolution of 160 x 120 providing crisp, hi resolution images, according to the company.
Priced at under £3,500, the unit incorporates a state of the art 3.5 inch colour LCD display with LED backlight. Up to 1000 high quality images may be stored (and retrieved at full digital resolution) on the supplied SD card. Two measurement cursors highlight temperature and temperature differences while a Class II laser focuses on the central measurement area for ease of identification of specific hot spots.
With a 20° x 15° field of view lens, the imager has a minimum focus of 30cm and is fitted with manual and auto functions for image adjustment.
