Learn more about lean manufacturing for free September 17th 2007 Expert advice, practical demonstrations and opportunities for one-to-one discussions are key features of the lean manufacturing seminars currently being organised by Bosch Rexroth.
The free four hour seminars in October are being held at: Treforest 15th October 07; Leicester 17th October 07 and Bradford 19th October 07.
The Lean Factory Group has four members: hardware supplier Bosch Rexroth, lean manufacturing consultancy Leonardo Group, KANBAN card manufacturer Orgatex and C-component supplier Wuerth. Together they offer all the essential elements for lean manufacturing solutions.
The topics which will be covered include: value stream mapping, work content and workplace design in terms of one piece flow, dimensioning of the KANBAN control loop, design of KANBAN boards, the customer order in the ERP system, levelling and the design of Heijunka boards. During the seminars experts from The Lean Factory Group will demonstrate how to build an assembly line using the lean concept.
