Win a Weldy at SED April 30th 2008 Butters AMT is giving away a Weldy 1600 DV, worth £569, plus several other prizes at this year’s SED show
Droitwich, United Kingdom – 21st April 2008 – Welding and cutting specialists Butters AMT is giving away a Weldy 1600 DV at this year’s SED show [13th to 15th May, Rockingham Motor Speedway, Northants.] in a free prize draw. Visitors to Butters AMT’s stand, number 9 in the main pavilion, will be invited to enter the draw and discuss any requirements they may have for welding, cutting or line-boring.
With an MRP of £569.00, the Weldy 1600 DV is a comprehensive, dual-voltage, inverter-based package for MMA (stick) welding. It boasts a smooth arc (which leads to uniform welds) and an automatic ‘hot start’ feature. Bob Burns, Butters AMT’s MD, comments: “The Weldy 1600 DV is ideally suited to light industrial applications and on maximum power and maximum duty cycle it consumes less than 6kVA.”
The prize includes a rugged carry case, mask, electrode holder and lead, earth lead and clamp, chipping hammer and brush. Also, though not included with the prize, Weldy 1600 DV optional extras include gas regulator and TIG torch, as the unit is able to operate as a TIG power source.
Butters AMT is also giving away runners-up prizes. 2nd and 3rd place will each receive a Helmet 9-13, which automatically reacts to welding arc within 0.40mS. In addition, pairs of general purpose welding gloves will be given away to the next seven names drawn.
Only visitors to Butters AMT’s stand at SED will be eligible for entry into the prize draw and terms and conditions apply.
The draw will take place before the end of May and the winners will be announced on Butters AMT’s website.
Burns concludes: “The Weldy 1600 DV is an extremely versatile unit, and the fact that it is dual voltage makes it ideal for on and off-site work.”
