Less is more

Less is more

Less packaging waste, more savings . . .
January 31st 2008

Reduce your impact on the environment...and use 50% less film.

At Jemac, we are always looking for innovative new ways of assisting our customers growing needs and requirements.

As companies look at ways to reduce costs and packaging waste, we constantly seek ways to help their effort by introducing new initiatives and product lines.

That’s why we now supply a new pallet wrapping film which offers customers benefits in less packaging waste, improved pallet security and easier application.

One of our newest products is a pre-stretched wrapping film, it uses patented technologies to manufacture a film that is easier to use, provides greater stability. And you use 50% less of it.

From talking to our customers, we have found that due to lack of end user training, a large number of customers are not stretching the film adequately to provide the required stability on the pallet and to minimise film usage.

The new film is pre-stretched, so that all the required characteristics are integral in the film.

Our customers have had great success with this new product. One warehouse & distribution company recently reduced the quanities purchased by 57% in film weight saving them an impressive £6,500 per year in costs.

We’d like all of our customers – as well as the environment – to benefit from theses savings by using our pre-stretched film or any of our range of products.
