New products from IMPAC
February 1st 2008 IMPAC Infrared has announced the launch of several new products for 2008. The Series 50 infrared pyrometers range has been extended with the introduction of the IS 50-LO plus and the IGA 50 LO plus models (250 to 3500°C). These high performance fibre optic pyrometers are fully digital instruments featuring fast response times, high accuracy, wide temperature spans and integral digital display. The user can quickly and easily configure the instruments using the integral keypad or via a PC using the InfraWin software.
The High Performance Series 140 pyrometer range has also been extended with addition models for measuring glass (5µm), Combustion chambers (3.9µm), plastic film (3.43µm) and a special model for gas and flame temperatures.
Also new for 2008 is the IVN 780-P portable high resolution thermal imaging camera. This 320 x 240 pixel array camera has a temperature resolution of 0.1°C and a temperature range of -40 to 500°C (optional 1000°C). The camera is user friendly and is supplied with a professional image analysis software package, enabling the user to quickly analyse the thermal images and produce professional reports.
