BSC backs Health & Safety 09
November 27th 2008

Demonstrating the growing importance of the Health and Safety series of regional events, the next of which takes place at Sandown Park in Esher on 24th/25th February 2009, is the announcement that from 2009 the British Safety Council is to become their Official Educational Partner.

Commenting on the agreement, Brian Nimick, BSC Chief Executive, said: “This is a very exciting time and becoming the Official Educational Partner allows us to deliver our specialist knowledge in training, advice and education to a wider audience and to take the health and safety debate forward.”

With the British Safety Council to announce details of its new educational programme at www.healthandsafetyevents.co.uk, the Health and Safety 09 events will contain brand new elements. Tim Else, event director, spoke about the innovation the BSC is planning saying, “Next year’s programme will recognise the fact that those involved in health and safety need to re-charge their batteries and therefore the educational content intends to be more interactive and to encourage the exchange of information amongst peers. By meeting like-minded people, who face the same challenges across different industries, visitors should return to work with fresh impetus from having their beliefs confirmed or by being armed with new ideas, methods and technology.”

Registering for Health and Safety 09 - South including seminars is free. Registration is via: www.healthandsafetyevents.co.uk or for those without internet access registration can be completed by calling the event helpline on: 0870 4866816.
