Marketing Manager - position available at leading process control equipment manufacturer Bürkert Fluid Control Systems

Bürkert is a leading supplier of fluid control systems with branches in 35 countries worldwide. The company has products with a variety of applications and are used in many exciting areas such as breweries, laboratories and space technology. We are looking to recruit a Marketing Manager to drive forward the marketing of Bürkert products and systems in the UK. This role presents a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on marketer with engineering experience.

As a key member of the team you will report directly to the General Manager, championing the marketing function. Your role will be to interpret corporate marketing strategy and manage marketing on a national level. Organising trade exhibitions, assisting with product launches and liaising with outside agencies in relation to PR will also feature in your day to day tasks. You will have responsibility for the marketing budget and optimising the return on investment. An ability to use the CRM system to gather marketing data, conduct local market competitor research and evolve internal marketing activities is also essential.

The ideal candidate will be of graduate calibre with prior B2B marketing experience and a background in process engineering. Bringing an innovative, creative and dynamic approach to marketing you will be technically competent with advanced industrial knowledge of the process industry. You will preferably have experience of hygienic processing, steam, water treatment, cooling systems, gas handling or micro fluidics.

Less experienced candidates who are keen to learn and can bring a lot of enthusiasm to the role will also be considered.
