Bearings last up to five times longer
March 1st 2007

A new, more accurate method of projecting bearing life has confirmed that the ratings of many KAYDON REALI-SLIM bearings exceed previously published figures, by up to five times, says the company.

As part of the validation process KAYDON Corporation also tested several competitors' thin-section bearings. The actual dynamic capacity of those bearings was found to be up to 72% lower than their published ratings.

These ratings have been published in a new edition of KAYDON's product catalogue and are included in the REALI-DESIGN software.

KAYDON bearings are supplied in the UK by R.A. Rodriguez.
