Expert lubrication training November 1st 2006 Food grade lubrication specialist ROCOL has completed a ten week training programme for United Biscuits at its KP Snacks Billingham factory. The training was organised as part of the cROCOLcare lubrication management programme. United Biscuits implemented ROCOLcare, which incorporates the FOODLUBE range of food grade lubricants, in 2001. An integral part of the programme is to support maintenance staff with lubrication schedules, plus training on application techniques and schedule management. 57 employees benefited from the ROCOL training over a ten week period which was offered as part of a pre-NVQ induction and took place off-site. The training sessions included hands-on learning to improve levels of understanding and encourage confidence. Steve Chapman, MD of ROCOL Maintenance Lubricants commented, "With lubrication being such an important part of the maintenance programme for companies like UB, we are delighted to be able to pass on our knowledge and expertise.
