November 1st 2006 Fuchs Lubricants (UK) is giving away a Dosatron mixing unit with the launch of two new products. Ecocool 2506S is a watermiscible cutting fluid developed for the machining of difficult aluminium and steel alloys, although it can also be used in turning, milling and grinding operations on nickel, titanium and other aerospace materials. It has been formulated with a combination of mineral oils, emulsifiers and EP additives to provide a high level of cutting performance and surface finish, effective cooling and good corrosion protection. Ecocool CC2-SCI is a heavy duty, micro-emulsion concentrate for the machining of steel and cast iron. It is suitable for applications such as precision grinding and Mapal reaming and can be used in centralised coolant systems. It contains emulsifiers that help to improve cleanliness and protect against spoilage, ensuring long fluid and sump life. Fuchs is offering customers a free DI 110 or DI 150 Dosatron proportional liquid dispenser, worth more than £350, with their first 2 x 205L purchase of Ecocool 2506S and Ecocool CC2-SCI (until the end of December while stocks last). The unit can be used to mix a range of chemicals, including coolants and cutting fluids.
