Single-point lubricators boost bearing performance
January 1st 2005 Single-point lubricators have been introduced by Wyko to deliver enhanced bearing and machine performance.
The Timken G-Power and MPower lubricators are gas and motorised devices that connect directly to grease or lubrication fittings and apply precise amounts of lubricants to bearings and other mechanical interfaces.
Timken single-point lubricators dispense a precise amount of grease over a set period. The company says this extends component life, cuts downtime and reduces the time and hassle of manual lubrication activities.
Available in three models, GPower gas lubricators are designed for normal industrial settings, as well as high humidity, high corrosion, hygienically clean and low-ambient temperature use. MPower motorised lubricators feature re-usable drive motors with battery or direct-wire power and replaceable lubrication canisters.
The two motorised models can be programmed to distribute lubrication in periodic intervals based on 100h of machine operating time.
