Slim bearing

Demand for a more compact turntable bearing has prompted Kaydon to design a new range of thin-section bearings.

Available from R.A. Rodriguez, the Custom Reali-Slim TT series has been designed to save weight, reduce product design envelope size and increase flexibility without compromising bearing performance and life.

The smallest bore is 1.5in; the largest 6in, and the height just 1/4in.

Despite the compact size, the bearings are said to offer a high level of accuracy. The extended radial bearing cross-section increases rigidity and optional preload or clearances meet application torque or deflection requirements.
