Synthetic grease
September 1st 2007 RW Greeff has introduced Dow
Corning's new Molykote G-4500
synthetic grease. Molykote G-4500
is a general purpose, light
consistency white synthetic grease
that can be used in rolling element
and plain bearings, pivot pins,
cams, guides, ways, drive screws,
gear, splines and other machine
elements. It is compatible with
many plastics and elastomers and
meets US FDA regulation 21 CFR
178.3570 and NSF H1
classifications for incidental food
contact. The grease is available in
two versions offering different
consistencies. The lower
consistency formulation (G-4501) is
suitable for use in automatic
