Gardner Energy Management
(GEM), manufacturers of the award
winning GEM Venturi Orifice Steam
Trap, will be unveiling its new
range of GEM Topaz on Stand 24
at The Energy Event.
Specifically designed for use on
clean steam systems the traps are
machined from 316L stainless steel
and are available in 15mm, 20mm
and 25mm diameters. The traps
are flanged for either Dockweiler or
Triclover clamp fittings and operate
with pressure ranges of up to
10bar (200°C).
Compact and easy to fit the
Topaz traps have an overall length
of 55mm for the two smaller sizes
rising to 65mm for the 25mm
diameter steam trap. They are
machined with rounded internal
shoulders to prevent any possible
bacterial build up.
GEM will also be exhibiting its
full range of venturi steam traps,
which provide a fast payback in
increased equipment reliability,
water and energy savings of up to
55%. In addition GEM steam traps
improve product processing by
enhancing the quality of steam and
also reducing equipment repairs,
