Push-pull overmoulded patch cables
January 1st 2007

HARTING has introduced a range of patch cables which combine the company's Push-Pull interconnection technology with overmoulding for enhanced reliability.

Like the complete HARTING Industrial(r) family, the Push-Pull overmoulded devices used in the cables, are based on the RJ 45 mating face, and are designed to meet the requirements of 100 Mbit/s Fast Ethernet and PROFINET in industrial applications.

HARTING says that its HANPush-Pull S device is the smallest RJ45 connector for industrial Ethernet to meet IP67 requirements for use in harsh industrial environments.

The 100% tested cable assemblies can be installed using a one-hand operation, with the overmoulding guaranteeing a reliable connection between cable and connector. No field termination is necessary.

The cable entry can be either straight or angled in four different directions.
