Securly seals cables
January 1st 2007

Walter Logan has introduced the new Pflitsch "blueglobe", which it says offers more clamping range, more strain relief and more impereability.

With only three cable glands the blue globe securely seals cables with diameters from 4 to 32 mm. Increased strain relief pursuant to EN 50 262 Class B and protective class IP 68 (>15 bar) are provided as standard.

Inside the blueglobe is a sealing insert made of a special, very high-grade plastic from the TPE family.

When the pressure screw is tightened up, the globular sealing insert centres the sum of the forces working on it inside and surrounds the cable conducted through it on a large surface.

The clamping ranges of blueglobe are so large that 3 sizes M16, M25 and M40 are sufficient instead of the usual 5 types to reliable cover the entire clamping range from M16 to M40.
