Kopex International has gained third party certification from the BSI, making it fully compliant with the new international standard IEC 61386 (BS EN 61386). The company believes it is the first in its field to achieve Kitemark certification to this standard.

Replacing EN 50086 European flexible conduit systems standard, Kitemark certification to the new IEC 61386 standard demonstrates that Kopex products meet performance specifications including fatigue life, operating temperature, non-flame propagation and many other criteria.

Customers in the food processing, healthcare, hazardous area, MODF and all other specialist markets can now specify Kopex conduit with the assurance that it has received independent third party certification.
