The Carbon Trust has called on UK air compressor suppliers to take advantage of a Ł6m sales opportunity from its equipment scrappage scheme: The Big Business Refit. This provides small and medium businesses with Ł100m in interest-free funding to replace old equipment and install new energy efficient upgrades. The Carbon Trust estimates about Ł6m is likely to be spent on air compressors.
