November 1st 2008 In rolled and strip steel production,
where the cost of drying steel
using compressed air delivered
through nozzles can be high, a
JetStream air knife system from
Meech International offers an
alternative.
It removes moisture from the
steel strips in a cost-efficient
manner. High-pressure air is
generated at a blower unit,
delivered to the air knives via
ducting, and then discharged from
the air knives at a high velocity.
