Accuracy and protection January 1st 2006 Designed to combine high accuracy measurement with high overload protection at reduced cost, Keller UK's new PD-39X differential pressure transmitter uses two absolute pressure sensors to measure system line pressures P1 and P2.
The digital subtraction of line pressure P1 from P2 provides a stable differential output signal with the benefit of high overpressure protection, up to 60 times differential range.
The two 316L stainless steel sensors are digitally corrected for repeatable errors of non-linearity and temperature effects using microprocessor techniques. This results in a Total Error Band of 0.2%FS over a compensated temperature range of -10 to 80°C, dependent on the line to differential pressure ratio.
Differential pressure ranges are available from 200mbar (line pressure to 1000bar) with output as a 4 to 20ma or 0 to 10v analogue signal.
