Dirty duty
July 1st 2004

A new grade of electric motor from Baldor is for dirty duty applications and has a range of protection measures to withstand severe and corrosive applications in the processing industry, and intense high-pressure washdown.

The DirtyDuty WD range has a new exterior surface coating bonded to its steel frame, and to the cast iron endplates, conduit box, lid and base. The coating is impervious to pressures, extreme temperatures and caustic chemicals.

DirtyDuty WD washdown-duty 1750 rpm motors come in ratings from 0.373 to 7.5kW/1/2 to 10hp.
