A compact, actuated control valve that combines accurate modulating control of medium to low flow rates with optimum automated process control, is one of a new range of valves from Pump Engineering.

The Badger Meter RC 860 valve can be supplied with a choice of accessories, including digital and analogue positioners and can handle flow rates as low as a few mL/h and pressures to 10 000psi.

Digital versions include the TZIDC and 1067, while analogue positioners include SRI 986, TZIM and 3767. This allows control flexibility and communication in process systems controlled by HART protocol and PROFIBUS.

Featuring self-diagnostics, the intelligent positioners are intrinsically safe in Zone 1 or Zone 2 and have explosion protection to Eex ia IIC T4.
