According to Aquamatic, there is a misconception by some companies that a wastewater sampling system will need a considerable amount of labour and record keeping.

Peter Smith, Aquamatics md, explains If required, either when visited by the local water company or to look at a production issue, a Self-Emptying Polypropylene Bottler (SEPB) can collect daily composite samples without the need to attend site.

Some businesses seem to think that because samples are being collected there is then an additional chore and cost of analysis, but this isnt the case.

Aquamatics SEPM intelligently empties one of the units two 4.5l containers each morning, prior to the start of the days sample routine while the other container retains the previous days composite sample.

Potential for blockages is averted by the containers ability to tip out its contents, and as this is accomplished with a vigorous scouring action, the minimal residue virtually eliminates the risk of cross contamination.
