SENSOR OPTION
May 1st 2005

Gems Sensors has added a temperature output option to its MiniMap compact pressure transmitter.

The unit can now have a temperature sensor embedded in its thin film substrate, enabling temperatures to be measured with an accuracy of ±1%/100°C.

From as little as 25mm long, the transmitter features a sputtered thin film sensor to provide consistently high levels of performance and stability for large volume users. As the thin film sensor is atomically bonded to the metal substrate, the transmitter virtually eliminates drift while offering enhanced sensitivity.

The unit offers a proof pressure of 2 x FS, and uses 17-4PH stainless steel. MiniMap is supplied in ranges from 6 to 2200bar but, with its onboard ASIC, can be set to any intermediate range of engineering unit.
