Tri-axial sensor

A compact tri-axial accelerometer introduced by Monitran is said to be particular well suited to aerospace applications, but also lends itself to automotive and industrial use where vibration in any or all of the three spatial axes needs to be measured.

The MTN/1310 sensor weighs 35g, has a square base of 25 by 25mm, and is 25mm high. It has three of the company's piezoelectric accelerometers which afford good temperature capability and reliability, mounted in the X, Y and Z planes within a hermetically sealed stainless steel enclosure.

Having just a single lead, installation is simplified.
