IPv6 porta logger

Yokogawa says its new Datum-Y portable data logger has a powerful range of communications capabilities including IPv6.

The instrument measures only 155 x 56 x 155mm and weighs around 800g, making it suitable for field service and maintenance applications. It features a large TFTLCD display with aa wide viewing angle and offers up to seven hours of continuous operation from its rechargeable battery.

Serial and parallel comms interfaces include USB, Ethernet, GP-IB, RS-485 and RS232. It can function as a web server or FTP server or client and also features an e-mail delivery function.

With 16Mb internal memory, extra storage can be provided by CF or SD memory cards or by USB stick
