Latest CAE January 1st 2008 At the 2008 Machine Building
Exhibition, Rittal will be exhibiting
its new electrical automation
software EPLAN Electric P8 that
offers the latest in CAE with
optional graphical and object
orientation.
Sophisticated technology and
data transfer from Eplan 5 and 21
allows applications to communicate
directly with each other.
Building on the time-saving
benefit of Eplan macros, Electric
P8 offers Macro variant technology
with the ability to insert sections of
circuits (macros) with up to eight
graphical variants containing preengineered
data.
It enables the user to make lastminute
changes by simply
selecting the suitable variant rather
than redesigning; data record
remains constant and potential
errors are minimised. Users can
work simultaneously on the same
project instantly, viewing changes
made in real time.
