Process transmitter May 1st 2006 The PR5210 process transmitter from Sartorius Hamburg now comprises three versions with various levels of features.
In addition to the model with a serial port and three digital inputs and outputs, the company offers a high resolution and highly accurate version with a choice of 4-20mA analog output or a high speed ProfibusDP interface, and a fully equipped version that has both.
Changes to the PR5210 include a more rugged design and enhanced reliability, making the device even less susceptible to mishaps in the field. These include improved diagnosis capabilities in the measuring circuit, enabling a broken cable or accidentally switched plus and minus poles to be detected; reliable DC/DC converter; and built-in, permanent reverse pole protection.
There is an improved, high performance analog output with double-high resolution, factory calibration and numerous setting and adjustment options for fine tuning.
