May 1st 2008 Denca Controls is implementing
Quality Logging Systems at Jaguar
Cars' Halewood and Castle
Bromwich manufacturing sites. The
systems will eliminate paper-based
quality reporting at both plants.
Based around a series of control
panels with touch screen/barcode
readers, the Denca solution
enables precise logging of any
faults in a particular zone, with
prompt reporting to the plant-wide
management information system.
Denca's activities have included:
complete system networking
information delivery to plant-wide
management systems, selection
and integration of Symbol cordless
scanners/barcode readers, sourcing/
integration of 19in 3M touch screens
and Dell PCs, and single-accesspoint
